FIRST in CT

With exactly 300 teams across all programs in 2024–25, Connecticut brings FIRST programs to every corner of the state. Starting with the FLL Challenge game reveal and ending with FRC's CT State Championship (and multiple off-season competitions!), every year is packed with events. In spring 2024, the Connecticut Manufacturing Innovation Fund allocated $2.27 million to expand FIRST in the state through rookie grants, registration, summer programs and training. ReadyCT oversees this partnership with NE FIRST, the official program delivery partner for all FIRST programs in Connecticut.

Join in the fun! NE FIRST events are open to the public.

A typical competition starts with teams arriving, getting set up, and practicing before they participate in matches that determine their qualification ranking.  Events will include an opening ceremony each morning, a lunch break (concessions available!) and a concluding awards ceremony! When you arrive, look for the info desk to find the day's schedule or a map of where teams from near you are set up. Questions? Email the event's Program Delivery Partner above!
