FIRST Robotics Competition
Under strict rules with limited time and resources, teams of high school students are challenged to build industrial-size robots to play a difficult field game in alliance with other teams. At the same time, they fundraise to meet their goals, design a team brand, and advance respect and appreciation for STEM within their local communities.

Join in the fun! NE FIRST events are open to the public.
A typical competition starts with teams arriving, getting set up, and practicing before they participate in matches that determine their qualification ranking. Events will include an opening ceremony each morning, a lunch break (concessions available!) and a concluding awards ceremony! When you arrive, look for the info desk to find the day's schedule or a map of where teams from near you are set up. Questions? Email the contacts on this page!
